The Signature Trilogy

The first fragrance series from the Viennese brand Nēomirage — lore, limen, and lethe — draws on mythological figures, cultural storytelling, and modern illusions, reflecting on how we construct and reconstruct the tension between remembrance, forgetting, and the in-between.

  • lore - the scent of remembering

lore - the scent of remembering

Reflects the way knowledge transforms over time, retold, reshaped, and reimagined. Follow the memory as it changes.
  • limen - the scent for in-between

limen - the scent for in-between

Neither here nor there. A zone where things shift, dissolve, or begin — a space of becoming. Cross the threshold.
  • lethe - the scent of forgetting

lethe - the scent of forgetting

A scent of oblivion — where forgetting becomes distance. Enter the river.

An echo without a source.
A shadow without a shape.
The fragrance of something almost remembered.

About

Nēomirage is a contemporary niche fragrance house founded in 2025 by Alexander Kasses - musician, visual artist, and independent perfumer - between Vienna and Marseille. Growing up in a family working in the circus led to an enduring fascination with the art of illusion, reimagined in a contemporary context.

The practice in experimental music is reflected in the compositional approach to fragrance, the layering of materials, the construction of accords, and the shaping of temporal intensities, giving each scent its own rhythm, structure, and movement.

His interest in perfumery began during his time in Marseille, a place of return and second home, where early experiments with raw materials evolved into the first sketches of scent compositions. Together with a team rooted in contemporary art and visual culture, Néomirage explores the shifting boundaries between perception, transformation, and form.
